Viticulture

TKG is pursuing, as an extension of its commercial real estate investment business, the development of vineyard, winery and wine lifestyle opportunities.

In the vineyard, TKG is using sustainable agricultural practices and organic farming methods to develop a high quality wine grape vineyard in the Livermore Valley. Knowledge gained from this experience will result in the expansion of our viticulture investments with the acquisition of existing vineyard properties and development of new vineyards in Northern California using the same techniques.

Winery

TKG is also developing an urban winery and wine brand called Foggy Bridge Winery, which will be located in the Presidio area of San Francisco. Situated less than half a mile from the Golden Gate Bridge, Foggy Bridge Winery will be the first urban winery located in a United States National Park. The winery seeks to bring winemaking back to its San Francisco roots, as it was prior to the 1906 earthquake when wine production facilities were located in the city. After the earthquake, wine production moved out of San Francisco and closer to the vineyards.

Incorporating both a winery open to the public and its "Sips & Bites on the Bay" wine tasting cruises, Foggy Bridge seeks to bring a comprehensive wine, food and educational experience to the residents of San Francisco. Foggy Bridge Winery will be a place to hang out, enjoy the views of the Presidio, the Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge and relax after either a long week or a morning run. Foggy Bridge is strongly connected to the San Francisco community and will support its residents through charity and social events.
